40 years ago today I lost my mum to cancer. It seems impossible to think she has been gone for so long. Makes me realise how young I was to lose her. She had just turned 59. My lovely friend Kathleen sent me some photos of my folks at a NYE party in 1981 a few years back. I’ve used this one before but doing so again today as it’s a memory I cherish. Watching my parents dance together over the years was always something I loved. My lovely Dad died three years after Mum and I miss them both very much. I’d love a TARDIS to go back to this night and see them again. Mum was very funny, tricky, kind, feisty, sometimes aloof, sometimes sad, but always herself. 💕

It’s a hard road to do this and sometimes it helps to get a little reassurance from a reading to get through and to where you need to be. I had a reading myself this week to keep strong.
